Tyler Powell, PT, DPT graduated from Western Carolina University in 2015 with a major in biology before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from High Point University in 2020.

From Charlotte, NC, Tyler grew up involved in sports and continued playing baseball through college. He was introduced to the world of physical therapy and rehabilitation after a shoulder injury during his senior year.

Tyler spent the first few years of his career working down in the Lowcountry of South Carolina focusing on orthopedic and sports-based injuries, and assisting local high school, college, and professional athletes return to competition.

After moving to up Asheville in 2023, Tyler joined SEPT Physical Therapy where he works with patients of all backgrounds and focuses on helping them return to their previous level of function with a patient-centered and holistic approach.
